Hi, I’m Miley — and I’m really glad you’re here.

I’m a mom of (almost) 3, a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer, and someone who’s spent years figuring out what wellness really looks like — outside of the filters, pressure, and “perfection” of social media.

After trying (and burning out from) multiple business ideas and social media ventures, I realized what I truly needed:
A space that let me create, share honestly, and support other moms — without the pressure to be consistent every single day or sell something in every post.

That’s how Mom Wellness, Unfiltered was born.

Why I Created This Blog 💬

Let’s be real:
Social media is full of influencers telling you what you should be doing, eating, buying, or avoiding.

But sometimes it just feels overwhelming, right?

I didn’t want to add to the noise. I wanted to cut through it.

This blog is a place for real wellness. Not the kind that’s all-or-nothing, or only looks good on Instagram. But the kind that fits into real life — with kids, messes, stress, and snack crumbs in your bed.

This is for the mom who wants what’s best for her and her kids — but doesn’t want to feel guilty or overwhelmed trying to do it “perfectly.”

You care about your health. You want to raise healthy kids. But you’re also tired of wellness advice that makes you feel like you’re never doing enough.

A Little About My Story 🧡

I got my bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness, and later earned certifications in nutrition coaching and personal fitness training. Those tools helped me create sustainable, healthy habits — not just for myself, but for my kids too.

But life has a way of humbling you…

Recently, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. The prognosis is good (and I’m doing great), but it was a wake-up call:
There is no “perfect” lifestyle that guarantees anything.

It reminded me why I believe so strongly in balance. That movement and food are medicine, but so is rest. So is laughter. So is living life without fear of missing a day, a step, or a green smoothie.
