Yes, I’m still here. Ready to come back better than ever! I have been craving the creative outlet that writing has started to become for me. Let me tell you, I have LOTS of ideas of things to come. Something about having a new little baby has always seemed to add to my creativity. Maybe it’s due to all the time I have to sit and think while nursing! 😆
Where have I been?
Somehow, I thought I’d be able to keep up with writing amidst the chaos of the last few months. But here we are now. So I’ll just catch you up! In September, we welcomed our new baby girl a few weeks sooner than originally planned. After 6 weeks of the newborn rollercoaster of blow-outs and bliss, I had surgery to remove a cancerous thyroid nodule. Recovery has gone well, and I am adjusting to life with 3 kids. People often ask how it is now that we are “outnumbered”. My response is “What’s one more when you’re already living in chaos?!” There is nothing I would rather be doing at this point in my life than caring for my kids. I feel very blessed to have them.
What’s next?
I know you’re all DYING to know. I say that sarcastically because the 5 people that currently read my blog are probably family members I’ve already talked with about my ideas. But again, the purpose of this blog is for me to have a creative outlet, with no pressure of anything!
I just signed up for a subscription that gives me access to hundreds of wellness courses, which will help me build up some continuing education credits to recertify for Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching. Now that I’m not forced to “learn”, I have found that I really enjoy learning! Funny how that works.😋
I’ve also felt a draw to go back to some wellness coaching. Stay tuned, as I’ll be sharing more details about what that entails in the near future. Until then, I have a few ideas in mind for my next post. If you have an opinion on what I share first, let me know!
- How I found my Thyroid Cancer and how I was treated
- What I learned from my Thyroid Cancer journey
- How I prepared for baby #3
- What I actually used postpartum
- Why you need a Nutrition Coach
Thanks for being here! I know I’ve just started, but I’m excited to jump back into things!
